New Releases - Some Possible Solutions by Helen Phillips

Literary Adventures was had a short story themed book chat in April and so I was on a short story collection marathon. One of those collections I read was Some Possible Solutions by Helen Phillips. I picked this up because I had read her novel, The Beautiful Bureaucrat which was a fun quick read and I wanted to read more of her writing.

Some Possible Solutions takes on the theme of “what if?” and boy does she come up with some wild scenarios. While many of these stories are very surreal they reflect our reality and make you think and that I think makes for a good short story.
 
I would definitely recommend this book.
