What I'm reading this week

I started on Purity by Jonathan Franzen this week and so far so good. I'm liking Pip, the protagonist.

What's new in the Book World

This is Your Life Harriet Chance by Jonathan Evison is another book I heard about at BEA's book Club Speed Dating Panel. It is a fun, bittersweet and thoughtful novel that has Harriet Chance, a 78 year old widow, looking back on the events of her life. It addresses the ideas of how we live our lives and the importance of those around us. There are secrets and decisions that end up showing us what it is that is most important in life. I really enjoyed this book and would highly recommend it.
